The Schneider Company Represents Lutron Electronics
The Schneider Company, South Carolina’s premiere lighting agency, is proud to announce it represents Lutron Electronics Co, Inc for the state of South Carolina. Lutron, headquartered in Coopersburg, PA, is the worldwide leader in lighting controls and motorized window shades. Lutron designs and manufactures lighting controls for residential, commercial and institutional applications. Lutron’s Quantum and Eco-Systems lead the industry in energy conservation for health care, educational and commercial markets.

The Schneider Company Represents Day-Brite Group, a Philips Group Brand
The Schneider Company is pleased to announce it represents The Day-Brite Group of companies, a Philips group brand headquartered in Tupelo, MS. The Day-Brite Group is also known as DCO for Day-Brite, Capri & Omega. These brands are manufactured in Tupelo, MS and Sparta, TN. The outdoor lighting brands for The Day-Brite Group are Gardco, Emco, Bronzelite and Nitebrites and are manufactured in San Marcos, TX.
Jim O'Hargan,CEO of Philips Day-Brite Group recently welcomed The Schneider Company to the Philips Luminaires North American independent lighting representatives family. He states, "We are extremely pleased to be associated with The Schneider Company who for over 33 years have been leaders in promoting the value of high quality lighting in South Carolina." O'Hargan further remarks, "They will have the full support of our key brands, Day-Brite, Capri, Omega, Gardco to advance our market position in their territory." The Schneider Company Announces Acquisition of Carolina Lighting and Design
The Schneider Company has acquired Carolina Lighting and Design, a Greenville-based lighting agency previously owned by Jason Sapp and has six employees. All previous employees of Carolina Lighting and Design have joined The Schneider Company.

The Schneider Company Represents H.E. Williams, Inc.
The Schneider Company is pleased to announce it represents H.E. Williams, Inc. an innovative lighting solutions industry leader for over 80 years designs and manufactures commercial and industrial linear fluorescent lighting products. Based in Carthage, MO, Williams utilizes the latest in design software, CNC fabrication and computer integrated progressive tooling to produce superior lighting solutions combined with unmatched personal service.
Infinity Lighting, a brand of H.E. Williams, Inc. produces specification grade downlight and surface mounted light fixtures. Infinity also specializes in induction lamp technology which offers 100,000 lamp life. Their 45 ft. long Williams/Infinity Showcoach travels throughout the United States and recently visited The Schneider Company headquarters in Greenville and the Columbia and Charleston offices. Its William’s way "to bring the factory to you" says company vice president Danny Lambeth. Look for future showcoach touring dates on The Schneider Company website. All H.E. Williams products are made in America.
The Schneider Company Names Jason Sapp and Michael Miranda Principals
Jason Sapp and Michael Miranda have been named principals of the agency. Sapp and Miranda will operate out of the Greenville headquarters.
The Schneider Company Creates Watts Controls Group
The Schneider Company has created Watts Controls Group, a subsidiary of The Schneider Company which will be headed by Ed Watts, formerly of Watts & Associates. As the previous Lutron sales representative for South Carolina, Watts brings many years of experience, knowledge and expertise of the Lutron product line to The Schneider Company. The controls group will consist of Lutron & Wattstopper brands. Watts Controls Group will promote the use of lighting controls including dimming controls, automated window shading systems and building automation systems. Scott Buck will also join the newly formed controls group as a Wattstopper specialist and Rob Roth will be the inside controls specialist providing quotations and customer service support. Buck and Roth will be located in the Greenville office. Karen Lister will also offer inside sales support for Lutron products and be located in the Columbia office.
The Schneider Company Expands Greenville Headquarters and Adds New Employees
The Schneider Company has grown to 37 employees and has expanded its Greenville based headquarters. With the acquisition of Carolina Lighting and Design, The Schneider Company welcomed six employees including Jason Sapp, Josh Campbell, Mike Hartman, Susan Hunter, Julie Vaughan and Paul Kelly. Ed Watts and Karen Lister joined the agency as members of the Watts Control Group. Toy Belcher has also joined the company as an energy solutions specialist assisting businesses and school districts within South Carolina by providing products and knowledge to meet current energy codes.
The Schneider Company Creates Energy Management Specialist Position
Toy Belcher, an Electrical Project Manager and independent consultant with over 40 years experience in the Architectural/Engineering community, has joined The Schneider Company as Energy Management Specialist. Belcher has developed presentations addressing energy code requirements, applications, and solutions for commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities. The presentations are AIA certified for continuing education credit and are available for architects, engineers, owners, developers, contractors, and school boards.
